The Wedding Day

From the building’s 5th floor pool area, you get a good view of the city. I can also see the very busy crowd in the city streets down below. The cool breeze sweeps my hair as I take a sip on a glass of wine. Then out of nowhere, a girl in a white bridal gown embraces me from behind.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. Quickly now, I grab the blanket to cover myself.

"Oh come on Franco, I can't believe you're still shy to bare your boyish charm", she answered as she walks towards my side table and grabs a stick of cigarette.

"Victoria, you can't just barge in to my door like that", I said annoyingly.

Last Night in NYC

Almost past midnight. The night is quiet. The only sound you will hear is a faint ensemble of songs from random Broadway musicals on my laptop. I decide to take a nice hot shower to ease the cold and then I continue packing my stuff.
